Rube Goldberg
The Rube Goldberg Machine is a machine that hits one specific thing, then hits the next until the goal is made, for example ours was to raise a flag.

The 10 steps from our machine
Step 1: small metal ball goes down a ramp which is potential energy
Step 2: the same ball goes down a tube
Step 3: then the ball hits a slightly bigger ball causing kinetic energy
Step 4: the slightly bigger ball goes down 2 ramps
Step 5: then the same metallic ball goes down a small tube
Step 6: when the ball goes down it hits a cup that the pulley is holding on the other side which is a triangular shape of wood making potential to kinetic energy
Step 7: the golf ball hits another steel ball making kinetic to kinetic energy
Step 8: the steel ball goes through a tube
Step 9: the same steel marble goes down a lever
Step 10: lastly the steel marble hits the cup causing the flag to go up making kinetic to potential energy
